About The AMOS Project
The project will act as a center where people will come together and interact with multiple exhibits and technical demonstrations about New York’s Central Upstate Region’s push for sustainability. An opening presentation will give visitors a unique overview of a community that is engaged in best practices and business development in this field. The project will also help recruit highly skilled talent from across the region, and locally within higher education institutions.
The AMOS Project Headquarters is located in downtown Syracuse, adjacent to Clinton Square. It’s a multimedia venue, filled with state-of-the-art technology including interactive kiosks and high-definition displays. The AMOS Project members can utilize the space for small group meetings and presentations, press conferences, tech demos, recruiting and networking events.

Visitors passing by the space are invited to learn about The AMOS Project, its members, and local sustainability efforts via an interactive video touch screen display.
The AMOS Project members will also enjoy the benefits of regional exposure through a comprehensive marketing campaign incorporating elements of broadcast, online and public relations. The AMOS Project Headquarters can also host special public forums and live radio broadcasts – including NewsRadio 570-WSYR’s “The Jim Reith Show”.
The space itself is an example of environmentally friendly urban renewal; built to LEED commercial interior standards (approval pending) inside a 130-year old Erie Canal era building.
The cross-media marketing effort of The AMOS Project is focused on four principle areas: TECHNOLOGY & ENTREPRENEURSHIP, AGRICULTURE & BIOTECHNOLOGY, EDUCATION & WORKFORCE, RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT. |
